It's my last day of internship! Woo! Anyway, it is a little sad, since I'm down to my last 20 minutes. But tomorrow I can sleep in. I can hardly imagine the bliss since it's been so long. And I can start making money again. That has definetely been sorely missed. Alright, I have to finish cleaning up my files and making the computer as it was when I started.

So sleepy.....

Steve came home last night to drop off some things so that he wouldn't have to drag them all home after graduation. We got together at Fernando's with KB. It was a good time. After we left, we stood in the parking lot telling cave stories until 11:30. So exhausted.

But on another note, I got wonderful mail yesterday! The Sims: Superstar arrived, along with the entire season 2 of Farscape. The guy I bought seaon 1 from emailed me today and apoligized for not sending them out on time, so he's overnighting them to me! Woo hoo!! My life has ended for the next couple of weeks as I catch up on the wonderfulness of it all!! I love happy packages in the mail.

KB moved in with me last night. She's having problems with her parents, and just needed to get away from them for awhile. My mom was totally cool with it too, which surprised me a little bit. The only problem I may see is that KB snores, but I guess I can live with that. I just need to rearrange my room so that the air mattress isn't in the middle of the floor. A little creative re-organizing is in order.

The concert was so totally cool last night, that I just have to use colorful language when describing it. However, to keep this blog posting rated G/PG, I will use words approved by the Swear Poster. For translation, click here.

First off, Maroon 5 came out. We had never heard of them. But they totally fonging rocked. They were signing autographs during Sugar Ray and in the intermissions, but by the time we got out there the line was incredibly long and they were out of CDs. I told KB that in about 6 months or so they would be huge and those CDs with the autographs would be selling for on Ebay a buttload of change. Just our fonging luck.

Then, Sugar Ray! We all think that Mark McGrath should make an aerobics video. Some of his dance moves are straight off of early morning ESPN workouts. But they had a kick-bum stage, which including some very cool pepper/chili lights, and their own fonging bar on the stage! Mark M. was talking to the audience when Rob Thomas walked out and everyone started screaming. In his words *swearing ahead, for the sake of a quote* "Sorry, man, but I needed a fucking drink." Anyway, Sugar Ray played mostly songs I know. There was one or two that I didn't know, but the rest of the set comprised of songs like "Fly" and "When It's Over." And Mark M. gets major props in my book for running out into the audience. He gave one older lady a hug and made her sing the "Fly" chorus with him. Oh, and Mark would like to see some campaigning against getting drunk and making late night phone calls. All you Sugar Ray fans, get on it.

And then.....MATCHBOX TWENTY!!!!!! They were totally fonging awesome. Rob Thomas is soooooo totally sexy. He was doing this thing with his hips that had the most astounding effect on me. They played a lot of stuff from their new album, inlcluding my personal favorites, "Hand Me Down" and "Unwell." He explained the meaning of Unwell to us. **More swearing ahead** "I go through my teens and my twenties, and I think 'Is it just me?' Then I get into my late twenties and my thirties and I realize that it's not just me. All of us are a little fucked up. We're just separated into two groups. Those that know they're a little fucked up, and then there's those poor fuckers in denial." I love you Rob Thomas. They played all their fan favorites too. "3 A.M." "Mad Season" "If You're Gone", and of course, they closed their set with "Push." Funny moment of the set: Spratt got upset that Rob Thomas smokes. He lit up on stage. I can't see it being very good vocally, but hell, Sugar Ray was up there drinking! Anyway, If they ever come to my town again, I will so be there!

And finally, I will talk about concert etiquette.
1. No one wants to see random ass shaking in their face. There were two women way down in front that: A) kept switching seats with everyone in their party. B)stood up and kept doing their ass shaking thing right in this other woman's face. The woman kept leaning and trying to see. I felt bad for her. It was an older lady too, or I would have just thought that she should stand up.
2. You just paid a butt-load of money to see someone perform live. STAY AND SEE THEM! Some people are so fonging rude. This older couple in front of us must have gotten up 20 times. The poor people on the aisle had to keep getting up. I don't know what they were doing, but we have two theories. One: they were having sex in the bathroom. Two: Pot Smokers. Either one would work. I just don't understand why people don't stay and enjoy the show.
3. This was just random odd. These four guys were sitting together across the aisle from us. In the middle of "Hand Me Down" a woman came down and tapped a guy on the shoulder. He made another woman move so he could get out in the aisle. They then started making out right in the aisle, completely blocking my view! On my favorite song! If you want to go suck face, go outside. But props to the security lady for breaking them up!
4. And finally, good etiquette: A girl that was behind me snuck in a camera. She got up to take a picture, but first checked to make sure she was not in my way! And this was a younger girl, maybe 14 or 15. I wish adults had those kind of manners!

Anyway, that's all for now. I suggest that if matchbox twenty comes to your town, you get your bum in gear and buy some tickets! They are totally worth it.

There's really nothing to talk about. It was a pretty event-free weekend. I did make loads of updates to Krelly. Including one of the most frightening things I've ever personally created. You can look at it here. I also added a message board, updated the associates, and made an associates login. Lots of fun, all on one site!

That's it. Back to work I guess. 7 days and counting!

I was feeling nostalgic this morning, but only by necessity. Like the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, I can trace back why I am wearing my Airwalk sneakers, circa 1996.

1. One week ago today, I had to work after my internship. Seeing as how it was Friday, it was casual day. But not at the cave. Oh no, I had to bring along my black boots to change into.
2. Laziness prevented me from changing back, so I put my sneakers in the car
3. I had gone to Walmart after that, and had a heavy bag to carry, so I left my sneakers in the car.
4. Had plans to go out Tuesday night, but they fell through, didn't need my sneakers, left them in the car.
5. It's casual day again, and no sneakers. It was cold, wasn't walking barefoot to my car to get them.
6. Went into my closet, and unearthed my Airwalks. Thought, why not? They were cool once! They will be cool again

Let's just say, I don't know how I ever wore these. My feet are killing me. I think that my feet must have changed shape since the 9th grade. So let's just say that nostalgia is good only when it doesn't involve your feet.

I'm re-reading all of my J.D. Robb books. Not because I have to. I actually have two new books that I haven't even cracked yet. But there is something about those books that draws me in, and takes away all my will power to go to bed at a decent time. I always tell myself I'm just going to read a chapter or two, but then before I know it, it's 1:30 a.m. and I need to get up in 6 hours. Being someone who needs at least 8 hours of sleep to function, this can be a problem. So, to anyone that needs something to read and doesn't mind spending all their free time being driven to find out what happens at the end, check them out. You can buy all of her books on Amazon used for $3 or less (at least when I last checked). Of course, I'm a book snob who likes my books new. But anyway, give them a shot.

If it's too good to be true, you're going to get screwed. This is my new motto, I just made it up right here on the spot. Not bad, huh?

I was on Ebay the other day, and I want to get the first two seasons of Farscape on dvd. The cheapest I've been able to find the first season box set online is $88. The second season isn't boxed, so they have to be purchased separately. So I go on ebay, and there's a seller with no rating. That usually wouldn't bother me, as everyone has to start from somewhere. I say usually, because it will probably bother me from now on. Anyway, this person had a buy-now price of $49. So I bid $49. The buy-now price on a collection of season 2 dvds was $149, and being a poor college student, I put in my proxy bid of $80, and crossed my fingers. The next day, I get an email from ebay that the user has had their account suspended. So, I'm glad that I didn't send in my money yet. But today I saw another brand new user with a similar name selling the same things for the same prices. I got lucky, and I hope ebay puts a stop to this person too, before they screw someone.

I want to go home. Only a few more minutes. I have Cherry Garcia in the freezer, and it is calling to me. Now that's what I call a healthy supper.

American Idol Update

Josh is gone! Woo hoo! Although, I will admit to getting a little teared up at the end when he was singing the show out and holding his daughter. I guess I'm just a little emotional lately. So I wonder if next week the contestants will sing three songs? That would be cool, esp. if they have an 80s night. That would make good television.

I heard an awesome song on my way to work this morning. It's been out for awhile, and I knew of it, but I never listened to it before. It's by Three Doors Down, and it's called When I'm Gone. If you haven't heard it yet, I totally recommend it.

There's another world inside of me
That you may never see
There's secrets in this life
That I can't hide
Somewhere in this darkness
There's a light that I can't find
Maybe it's too far away...
Maybe I'm just blind...

Maybe I'm just blind...

So hold me when I'm here
Love me when I'm wrong
Hold me when I'm scared
And love me when I'm gone
Everything I am
And everything you need
I'll also be the one
You wanted me to be
I'll never let you down
Even if I could
I'd give up everything
If only for your good
So hold me when I'm here
Love me when I'm wrong
You can hold me when I'm scared
You won't always be there
So love me when I'm gone

Love me when I'm gone...

When your education x-ray
Can not see under my skin
I won't tell you a damn thing
That I could not tell my friends
Roaming through this darkness
I'm alive but I'm alone
Part of me is fighting this
But part of me is gone

I just read in TV Guide that the WB is making a MacGyver spin-off with MacGyver's nephew as the making a bomb out of a Hershey bar and a toothpick hero. Now, I may be wrong in this, but I don't think so, as I was once a rabid viewer of this show, but wasn't MacGyver an only child? His father and grandmother died in a car crash, and his grandfather Harry raised him. Am I wrong in this?

I remember what I was going to post! My mind is just on a slow leak, I swear.

Ben Browder was on CSI: Miami on Monday night. Oh, and he is still yummylicious. Did he bulk up or what? Didn't care for the hair, but that's alright, still drool-worthy. Scapers from all over must have tuned into that episode.

There is something wrong with my thumb.

It's not asleep, as was my first thought. And even that would be a little weird, seeing as how the rest of my hand feels fine.

There's an odd tingling, and then bam! Shooting soemthing...not quite pain, but not at all a happy feeling either.

Just thought I would share.

American Idol: The show that has taken my Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Which isn't a bad thing. Except that I am now quite worried that Josh isn't going home. The boy is horrible. Why does not America see this? His second song wasn't as bad, but he sang the same song as Clay. Who would want to follow up Clay? My father stated that if Josh doesn't go home this week, he is not watching anymore. My mother stated almost the same thing, except it was if Ruben goes home, she'll never watch again. Unfortunately, I have no choice. American Idol has taken my Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and won't be giving them up until the winner is announced.

I received the most depressing news yesterday. John S. is going to be the AO manager. Death take me now. Jesus, this is the man that would come around to do something, we'd say "thank you John", he would leave, and someone would announce to never let him do it again because he screws it up. I seriously wanted to cry. I'm going to talk to Christine to make sure that it's true, and not just a rumor. Because if it is true, my summer stress level just went through the roof.
